Sound Familiar?

Every parent wants the best start for their child

If you have noticed any of these signs, early intervention with a specialist paediatric speech pathologist can make a real difference.

Hard to Understand

Other people struggle to understand what your child is saying, even though you know what they mean.

Late to Talk

Your child is not using as many words or sentences as other kids their age, and you are worried they are falling behind.

Reading Struggles

School is getting harder. Your child avoids reading, mixes up letters, or cannot sound out new words.

Long Wait Times

Public services have months-long waitlists, and travelling to Melbourne for specialist care is not realistic for your family.

Common Questions

Answers parents are looking for

No, you do not need a referral to book a private speech pathology appointment. You can call us directly. However, if you would like to claim through Medicare under a Chronic Disease Management plan, you will need a referral from your GP. We are also registered NDIS providers and can work with private health fund rebates.
We see children and teenagers from birth through to 18 years of age. Whether your toddler is late to talk or your teenager needs support with literacy and social communication, our team has the training and experience to help.
Yes to all three. We are registered NDIS providers, and we can provide receipts for Medicare (with a valid GP management plan) and all major private health funds. We will help you understand your options and make the most of your available funding.
Common signs include difficulty being understood by others, using fewer words than peers, trouble following instructions, stuttering, difficulty with reading and spelling, or challenges making friends. If you are unsure, give us a call. We are happy to chat about your concerns and advise whether an assessment would be helpful.
Every child is different. Some children make significant progress within a few weeks, while others benefit from longer-term support. After the initial assessment, we will give you a clear picture of what to expect and set measurable goals so you can see progress along the way. Consistent home practice between sessions makes a big difference.
